QA Software Tester
Own end-to-end test coverage across DA5 fintech products, from test plans to release readiness.
About the role
You’ll join our QA team to safeguard the quality and stability of DA5’s
software products. Your work spans planning, executing, and refining
tests across functional, regression, integration, and performance
coverage — and partnering closely with engineering to ship with
confidence.
Responsibilities
What you’ll do day to day.
Test execution
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements
- Develop and execute test cases and test scripts to validate software functionality
- Conduct comprehensive testing of software applications, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases
Collaboration
- Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and isolate software issues
- Collaborate with the development team to identify, report, and track software defects
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate resolution of issues
- Participate in test plan and test case reviews, providing insights and suggestions for improvement
Quality & process
- Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution
- Perform thorough analysis of software requirements and specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the testing process, proposing improvements as necessary
- Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports
Qualifications
What we’re looking for.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Software Tester with 1-2 years of relevant work experience
Technical skills
- Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices
- Proficiency in test case design, test execution, and defect management
- Experience with various testing techniques, such as functional, regression, and integration testing
- Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks
Working style
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
