System Developer
Build and scale the web applications powering DA5 — PHP and Vue.js stack, real production traffic.
About the role
You’ll work across the stack to design, develop, and maintain the web
applications that power DA5’s products. Expect to ship features, scale
existing sites, integrate with back-end and third-party services, and
collaborate closely with designers, QA, and analysts.
Responsibilities
What you’ll do day to day.
Build & ship
- Write well-designed, testable, efficient code using best software development practices
- Construct website layout and user interface using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Maintain, develop, and scale DA5 sites
- Integrate data from numerous back-end facilities and databases
Collaboration
- Analyze technical requirements of the project and adapt the code in line with requirements
- Analyze the requirements and needs of users, designers, QA testers, and other team members
- Collaborate with web designers to match visual design intent
- Coordinate and collaborate with other developers, designers, and systems and business analysts
- Liaise with third-party providers regarding system upgrades, developments, and concerns
Operate & evolve
- Generate and maintain software documentation
- Update current facilities in line with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Ensure that systems are secure and efficiently used by target users
Qualifications
What we’re looking for.
Experience
- Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience with PHP, Vue.js, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
Technical skills
- Knowledgeable and experienced with CodeIgniter 3.0.6 Framework
- Experience with REST and SOAP APIs
Working style
- Can juggle multiple projects at a time
- Eye for detail and in identifying problems and concerns
- Willing to work in Makati City
